Clubhouse Project
The Shasta-Trinity Fly Fishers promotes learning opportunities for adults, youth, and wounded and disabled veterans. The club funds and participate in: conservation programs, fish habitat protection, all phases of fly fishing education, fly tying, scholarships, women’s breast cancer recovery programs, kids fishing days, and youth education and conservation in school classrooms. STFF currently operates by renting two small facilities for our meetings, classes, and seminars.
The City of Redding, recognizing the value that STFF brings to the community, has provided a site in Clover Creek Park Preserve for the construction of dedicated facility. This facility will allow STFF to meet the demand for its wide range of programs and activities without being limited by its current facilities.
Currently the 137 acre park does not have any restroom facilities. As part of the agreement with the City of Redding, STFF will also provide funding for public restroom facilities for all Clover Creek Park visitors.
Mission Statement:
To generate, manage and implement plans and strategies aimed at acquiring of construction funds [totaling $250,000] through applications to charitable foundations….various donations programs for STFF’s members….and programs designed to solicit donations from other entities.
